Multiple Literacies & Goal Setting
This page examines the different literacies I brought into ENC1101 and the goals I set for myself as a writer. I reflect on how identifying my strengths and weaknesses shaped the choices I made throughout the course.
Reflection (Using Portfolio Reflection A + Portfolio Prompt C)
The Portfolio Reflection A and Portfolio Prompt C assignments helped me understand how different types of literacies support my writing process and help me achieve my goals. Through these assignments, I learned that being a successful writer requires more than just writing the final paper. I had to use digital literacy by learning how to organize my work through tools such as Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Google Drive, and WordPress. In Portfolio Reflection A, I focused on planning how I would manage my assignments, drafts, and feedback throughout the course. Then, in Portfolio Prompt C, I reflected on how I followed through with that plan by keeping my materials organized and preparing my ePortfolio. These assignments helped me recognize the importance of using different tools and strategies to support my writing. By developing an organized system and adapting to a digital writing environment, I became a more prepared writer who can use multiple forms of literacy to reach my goals.
