Reflection

This assignment best demonstrates the outcome of Writing Processes & Adaptation because it helped me become more aware of the decisions I make throughout the writing process. As I analyzed my admissions essay, I realized that every writing choice was made with a specific audience and purpose in mind. I learned that effective writing is more than telling a story. It is about using rhetorical strategies, such as pathos and motivation, to communicate a message and connect with readers. Revising my work after receiving feedback also showed me that writing is an ongoing process. Expanding on my motivations and explaining my rhetorical choices strengthened my final paper. Overall, this project taught me how to adapt my writing for different audiences and purposes, and it helped me become a more thoughtful and intentional writer.
